British Universities Finance Directors Group BUFDG is the representative body for finance staff in the higher education sector in the United Kingdom. Members of the Group are formally the Finance Director or equivalent at each institution who meet termly on a regional basis, and annually at Conference. Many other staff are involved in the Group's activities, for example, through the many working groups that have been set up to address particular interests and issues, or attendance at seminars. BUFDG is funded by modest subscription, from the proceeds of the Conference and the training activities, but is also supported by the voluntary efforts of its officers, members of Working Groups, and many others. The elected Executive is supported by an Executive Officer, Executive Assistant and a Training Events Coordinator. BUFDG is an organisation interested in almost everything that goes on in a Higher Education Institution as most roads lead to money.
